Dunes of Drunense duinen, cruise on the De Maas river from the town of Heusden, integration evening with the JBK choir.
In the evening there was a barbecue, delicious vegetable salads, fruit and tasting of famous Dutch beers.
There was singing together. The Agricola choir already knows 2 songs in Dutch, which we can always sing together.
JBK kept the biggest surprise secret until the last moment of our stay in Den Bosch.
For the farewell evening, Jeroen Bosch Koor invited a 20-person Big Band DA CAPO, who graced our meeting with his music./M.A./

Kathedrale Basiliek van Sint-Jan Evangelist
The Roman Catholic Cathedral Church of St. John (Sint-Janskathedraal) of 's-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant is the height of gothic architecture in the Netherlands. It has an extensive and richly decorated interior, and serves as the cathedral for the bishopric of 's-Hertogenbosch. In 1985, it received the honorary title of Basilica Minor from Pope John Paul II.
Using the magnificent acoustics of the cathedral, the Agricola Choir sang two songs:

A walk around the De Bossche Markt next to the city well and the monument with the wooden statue of Mary with the baby Jesus (a replica of the statue of the Master Coudewater from the 15th century).
In May 2017 The Holy Mary received a golden crown from the city's residents.

Our choir was also invited by the Polish-Dutch Foundation STICHTING DRIEL-POLEN and the parish of Maria Magdalena for a concert at the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, in which allied forces, a/o the Polish Parachute Brigade of general Sosabowski took part during WW II.
19 September 2019 at 19.30 in the Holy Virgin Mary Church next to Polenplein, at Kerkstraat 27 in Driel a concert took place. Performers: the Agricola Choir from Krakow under the baton of Joanna Gutowska Kużmicz and the music group "Promyki Krakow" from the Music School of Mieczysław Karłowicz in Krakow, under the direction of Roma Doniec-Krzemień.

From 19.09 until 22.09 the AGRICOLA Choir was travelling to the Netherlands for some concerts.
The trip was organised by invitation of the Dutch Jeroen Bosch Choir of Den Bosch. With this choir we have an exchange program.
The first town we visited in the Netherlands after landing at Eindhoven airport was Son en Breugel.
It was the scene of heavy fighting at the end of the Second World War, particularly during Operation Market Garden.

The AGRICOLA Male Choir of the Krakow Academic Community under the direction of dr. Joanna Gutowska-Kuźmicz had the honor to mark the triple anniversary of Krzysztof Zanussi: the 80th anniversary of the his birth, the 60th anniversary of the director's film debut, the 40th anniversary of his directorial debut in the Stary Theater in Krakow. The ceremony took place on June 19, 2019 in The meeting room of the City Council of Krakow named after Stanisław Wyspiański at the Wielopolski Palace in the presence of the President of Cracow, prof. Jacek Majchrowski and many great guests. /M.A/
